We recognize our ethical responsibility to you, our patients and clients, and the community we serve. Our Code of Conduct guides all staff members, volunteers, contracted staff, and those acting as representatives or agents of St. Lawrence. Underlying these principles is our commitment to excellence in providing quality patient care.
Specifically addressed in our Code are our responsibility to patients and employees, professional relationships, moral and legal standards, community responsibility, professional conduct, and the implementation and promotion of ethical behavior in business, marketing, and clinical practices.
We strive to provide a safe and high quality rehabilitation experience at St. Lawrence. If anyone has any concerns about patient care or safety, they are encouraged to contact the hospital manager of that service or department. If concerns cannot be resolved through the hospital, the individual can contact the Joint Commission’s Office of Quality Monitoring to report any concerns or register complaints about a Joint Commission – accredited health care organization by either calling 1-800-994-6610 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
