Car Seat Check-Up, Safe Kids Day & Bicycle Safety Rodeo

St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center, the lead organization of Mercer County Safe Kids, and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, sponsored a Car Seat Check-Up event on June 8, 2019.  They checked 47 car seats to determine if they were installed correctly.  44 out of the 47 had been installed incorrectly and the officers, who are certified Child Passenger Safety technicians, correctly installed them and instructed the parents and grandparents on proper installation and safety.

We were pleased to be able to offer this important and worthwhile event.

St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center, the lead organization of Mercer County Safe Kids, sponsored Safe Kids Day at the Trenton Thunder on June 9, 2019.  Capital Health, Penn Medicine/Princeton Health and St. Francis Medical Center also participated, and had safety exhibits on the concourse during the game.  Many children and parents received helpful safety tips!
